Jessica Brooks ‚ remember the name!

With a strong multi-octave range, this vocal dynamo never fails to "wow" a crowd. Her pop/country-style powerhouse vocals, seasoned with a splash of fun, exude attitude, sexiness, heart, and independence.

"I am a very strong person, but everybody can feel vulnerable at times. I like to portray that in my music. Some of the songs that I sing can be words of encouragement while the next track can be about missing someone. These are all real feelings that people experience in life." Jessica explains.

This beautiful young woman has been performing as long as she can remember, and singing since she could talk. Growing up she sang in church choir and throughout high school was regarded as THE singer. Jessica participated heavily in her schools' chorus program and was asked to perform various functions from sporting events, talent shows, as well at mass and weddings at her church. Voted "Most Likely to be Famous" by her classmates, Jessica is determined since graduation to see that title to fruition.

In the fall of 2003, Jessica auditioned for Connecticut Idol, an American Idol-styled competition held by the major radio station, 96.5 TIC. After a few preliminary rounds she gave an interview and live performance on air, then the votes were cast. Jessica was announced second finalist in the state of Connecticut (based on votes cast by Connecticut residents) out of the nearly a thousand participants.

In 2003, Jessica attended Berklee College of Music in Boston on scholarship. While she is grateful for her time at Berklee, after one semester, she decided to go a different route pursuing a career. Soon after, she began working with Boston vocal coach, and Berklee Alumni Jennifer Truesdale, at Jeannie Deva Voice Studio. Jessica drove to Boston 1-2 times a week for about two years to study with Jennifer. "I loved studying with Jennifer. She really focused on who I was as an artist and what I wanted to achieve. It was the first time I saw the results I wanted to see quickly!" Jessica notes. Jessica continually performed in venues around New England such as a repeated guest at Chick Singer Night in Boston, Arlington Fair in Arlington MA, Wolcott Business Convention in Wolcott CT, Malls in Connecticut, and second place at a showcase at Don Hill's.

In 2006 she moved down to Nashville, TN. She worked with Brady Barnett (N*SYNC, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Faith Hill) to complete a 4-song demo that she completed recently. "Jessica Brooks is simply amazing! She's got the look. She's got the attitude. Her voice is unbelievable. She truly is the total package!" Brady remarks.
